Hatha classes are for all levels, I offer numerous postures with different modifications to fit your needs. Hatha translates to yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and the “moon” (tha) equals the yoga of balance and activity. Hatha practice is said to prepare the body for mediation. Postures are practiced aligning, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. This class integrates pranayama breath work and meditation. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full- body relaxation and balance are the goals as we make full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds and hip openers.
